Free income tax assistance is available for area residents on March 4th, 11th and 18th, 2025 by appointment only. This service is provided by the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide program with the help and support of the Crandon Public Library, with an emphasis on people with low to moderate income.
Tax counseling services are offered free of charge by volunteer Tax-Aide Counselors trained by the IRS and AARP Foundation to assist in tax preparation. The services rendered will include preparation and e-filing of your 2024 Federal and Wisconsin tax returns, and, if applicable, the Wisconsin Homestead Credit or Veterans Property Tax Credit.
